Philip Rivers: The #3 QB takes on a Jets Defense who surrenders the 2nd most fantasy points to QBs. Rivers and his bolo tie will be lighting up Rex “Slim Fast” Ryan’s secondary all day. He’s my Ultimate Start of the Week.
Fantasy Projection: 300+ yards 4 TDs
Russell Wilson: In Week 4, Eli Manning posted 300+ yards and 4 TDs against a defense missing their best cornerback in DeAngelo Hall. Redskins have the 10th best rush defense, look for Wilson to dice up a mediocre secondary.
Fantasy Projection: 300+ Yards and 3 TD’s
Andre Ellington: Andre’s tear in his foot has scared many people away including myself. Now coming off a bye where he was strapped to a Rascal Electric Wheel Chair, Sir Ellington’s is a go with a matchup for the ages. Broncos defense has given up back-to-back 20+ fantasy point performances to Knile Davis and Marshawn Lynch.
Fantasy Projection: 100 rushing yards/30 yards receiving and a TD
Bishop Sankey: After taking dance lessons and fixing his balking foot work according to Whisenhunt, Sankey is in line for more carries with a terrific match up vs. a Browns Defense that has given up the 2nd most fantasy points to running backs. Look for the Stankey Leg in the end zone this weekend.
Fantasy Projection: 115 yards rushing and 1 TD
Vincent Jackson: Mike Evans is out for 2-4 weeks with a groin injury, which leads VJax to get the lion’s share of targets. Does not hurt that New Orleans gives up the 5th most fantasy points to WRs and Safety Jairus Byrd is now out for the season. Chalk up Vjax for best game of the season.
Fantasy Projection: 120 and a TD
Brian Quick: Quick is the Rams top WR which isn’t saying much, but he gets to face the Eagles who give up the 4th most fantasy points to WRs this year. You can expect the Rams to be down and throwing.
Fantasy Projection: 100 yards and a TD
Heath Miller: Jaguars have allowed the most fantasy points to Tight Ends and he’s coming off his best game of the season posting 10 receptions for 85 yards and TD.
Fantasy Projection: 80 yards and 1 TD
Garrett Graham: Dallas gives up the MOST fantasy points to TEs and starting linebacker Bruce Carter is out for this game. Let’s hope the Amish Rifle feeds him.
Fantasy Projection: 80 yards and a TD.
Detroit Lions: Kyle Orton at the helm and is still building a rapport with the WRs. Looking forward to a multiple INT day from Orton.
Fantasy Projection: 15 Fantasy points
San Diego Chargers: GENO SMITH. There I have said enough. He would rather throw INTs than TDs so start the Charger Defense.
Fantasy Projection: 18 Fantasy Points
Matt Ryan: Now why would you ever sit Matt Ryan? Well, you wouldn’t and frankly nor would I. All I am saying here is to temper expectations going against an underrated New York Giants Defense.
Fantasy Projection: 270 yards 2 TD.
Nick Foles: How many of you knew that last week vs. the 49ers, Foles didn’t throw 1 TD. Wait, I mean the Eagle offense didn’t score a TD at all. This week for Foles gets even worse, now facing the NFL’s best pass defense in the St. Louis Rams. Did you know that?
Fantasy Projection: 200 yards and no TDs
Alfred Morris: Your not sitting Morris, but I am due to the fact he is facing a Seattle Defense which is ranked the 2nd best Rush Defense in the NFL.
Fantasy Projection: 75 yards No TDs
Stevan Ridley: The Patriot Offense is an absolute mess and Ridley faces a Bengal defense that gives up the 8th fewest fantasy points to RBs. Please Sit.
Fantasy Projection: 40 yards rushing
Julian Edelman: Last time he played the Bengals he had 2 receptions for 25 yards and the 2014 Bengals are giving up the 9th fewest fantasy points to WRs. It does not help that Tom Terrific simply has not been, well, terrific.
Fantasy Projection: 30 yards
Andre Johnson: All you need to know here is that DeAndre Hopkins is now the man in Houston and the Amish Rifle has tunnel vision for him. He’s also battling an ankle injury and is facing a Cowboys defense that gives up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to WRs.
Fantasy Projection: 50 yards
Jason Witten: Witten is now a repeat offender on my Sit list and he has yet to score a TD this year. The Texan defense has given up the 4th fewest fantasy points to TEs.
Fantasy Projection: 20 yards
Dwayne Allen: Jordan Cameron, Heath Miller and Greg Olsen have COMBINED to produce 7 receptions and 88 yards with NO TDs. SIT!!!!
Fantasy Projection: 20 yards
Baltimore Ravens: Ravens have the pleasure of facing the frontrunner for the 2014 MVP in Andrew Luck. Here’s what Terrell Suggs said about Luck. “We’re real impressed with the kid and we don’t say that a lot,” Suggs said. “Usually we come up here and play the political game, we’re like, ‘Oh, this guy can make every throw’ and ‘This guy’s pretty good,’ but this guy’s actually really f—— good.”
Fantasy Projection: 1 point
Houston Texans: Anyone would think this is a MUST start for a fantasy defense. This is actually a MUST sit seeing that Houston Rush Defense ranks 25th in the NFL and the Cowboy Rushing Offense ranks #1 in the NFL. Equation for Success, I would say no. SIT!
Fantasy Projection: 3 points
