From 1995 to 1998 the 49ers and Packers met in four consecutive playoff games. The 49ers would come up short in the first three matchups and the Packers officially had their number. After Brett Favre hit Antonio Freeman for the go ahead touchdown with just under 2 minutes remaining in the 1998 Wildcard matchup, it appeared as if 49ers were doomed for another playoff exit at the hands of the hated Packers. Terrell Owens had been having one of the worst games of his career, dropping ball after ball that day. That was all forgotten because of what he was able to do on one final play.
