NFL Week 12: Tommy's Picks - Unsportsmanlike Conduct

NFL Week 12

Week 11 went swimmingly as I posted a 9-5 record. This brings the season total to 77-64-3. I stupidly picked the Redskins to win in survivor, which gives me two losses so I’m done. Thanks RG3. However, I will continue to pick a survivor for you the reader in hopes that you have not been following my lead too closely and didn’t pick with me last week or in week 7 (thanks Seattle). Teams used: Denver, New England, Detroit, Green Bay, San Diego Pittsburgh, Seattle (loss #1), Kansas City, Cincinnati, Dallas, Washington (loss #2).

Here comes week 12…

Chiefs -7 over @ Raiders

If Oakland couldn’t keep it within 7 against a cold Chargers team, they won’t be able to do it against a hot Chiefs team even at home.

Browns +3 over @ Falcons

The Browns have struggled on the road (losing to Jacksonville and only beating Tennessee by 1) but don’t look into that too much.

Titans +11 over @ Eagles

I believe the Eagles will win by 9 or 10, which is less than 11. I’m great at math.

@ Patriots -7 over Lions

I hate the idea of Stafford outdoors. Lions are 8-12 against the spread in away games since 2012.

@ Vikings +10 over Packers

Minnesota will put up a fight at home against a divisional opponent.

Jaguars +14 over @ Colts

The Jaguars will lose by 10. But as stated earlier I’m very good at math and 10 is less than 14.

Bengals -1 over @ Texans

Mallett played well against Cleveland but I expect a worse performance this week.

Jets +4.5 @ Bills

The Jets cover and win.

@ Bears -5.5 over Buccaneers

The Bucs crushed my survivor double elimination dreams last week. They can’t do it two weeks in a row? Can they?

@ Seahawks -6.5 over Cardinals

I have no idea how the Seahawks are favored by anything more than a point. Which is why, in accordance with the sketchy line theory, I have to take them.

@ Chargers -4.5 over Rams

The Rams will have a “We just beat Peyton Manning” hang over.

@ Broncos -7 over Dolphins

I don’t care who suits up for Denver, they won’t be embarrassed two weeks in a row.

Redskins +9 over @ 49ers

The Redskins are terrible but I watched the 49ers almost lose to the Giants in a game where Eli Manning threw 5 interceptions.

Cowboys -3 over @ Giants

I still can’t believe the Giants have won a game let alone 3.

Ravens +3 over @ Saints

The Saints will lose but will still only be a game out of first place in the NFC South with a 4-7 record.

Lets see if the Buccaneers can ruin my weekend again.
