NFL Week 2: Sit / Start

Start

Quarterback

Jake Locker: Coming off a 20 point performance and now having the pleasure of facing the terrible Cowboys defense. Fantasy Projection: 270 yards 2 TD’s and 1 rushing TD

Andy Dalton: Last week Atlanta’s Defense gave up 333 yards and a TD to Brees and failed to sack him. This should be a high scoring affair. Fantasy Projection: 300+ Yards and 3 TD’s

Running Back

Frank Gore: Age is just a number for Frank Gore as he should be able to eclipse the 100 yard mark this week. Spiller and Co were able produce 174 yards and a receiving TD. Fantasy Projection: 100 yards and a TD

Arian Foster: Bill O’Brien said he will run Arian into the ground. Arian gets the Raiders who gave up 197 yard and 2 TD’s to the NY Jets Backfield. Fantasy Projection: 120 yards and 2 TD’s

Wide Receiver

Vincent Jackson: Tough match up last week versus, an above average defense in Carolina. Now he get the lowly Lambs, who gave up the 3rd most points to WR’s in Week 1. Fantasy Projections: 100+ and a TD

Michael Floyd: All this offense ever does is throw. I calculated 3, yes 3 times, that the Cardinals were in an pre-play running formation. Doesn’t hurt that he gets the Giants defense that surrendered the 2nd most fantasy points to WR’s last week. Fantasy Projection: 115 yards and a TD

Tight End

Charles Clay: Bills have given up a touchdown to Tight Ends in 5 of their last 7 games. If I was a gambling man, I would say those are some fantastic odds. Fantasy Projection: 85 yards and a TD

Delanie Walker: Vernon Davis had 2 touchdowns last week vs Cowboys. I think you see the pattern throughout this article. Play all your Titans this week. Fantasy Projection: 70 yards and a TD.

Defense

Arizona: Eli Manning and Company have no offensive rhythm at all. It is utter ciaos in the Land of the GMen. Victor Cruz will be shadowed by Patrick Peterson; chalk this one up as the highest scoring defense of the week. Fantasy Projection: 18-20 Fantasy points

New Orleans: No Josh Gordon, No Ben Tate, No Jordan Cameron….Who else plays for the Browns. Fantasy Projection: 10-12 Fantasy Points

Sit

Quarterback

Jay Cutler: Possibly without Alshon or Marshall could be a devastating loss for Cutler. There Offensive line is decimated with injuries by losing their center Roberto Garza and Left Guard Matt Slauson. Fantasy Projection: 240 yards 1 TD.

Robert Griffin III: What is good about him. I mean doesn’t even know how to set his feet when throwing the deep ball. RG3 gets the underrated Jaguar Defense with a stout front seven. Fantasy Projections: 250 yards and no TD’s

Running Back

Reggie Bush/Joique Bell: Simple as this, Carolina does not give up yards to RB’s. Doug Martin produced 9 yards on 9 carries. Fantasy Projection: 85 yards Combined

Ryan Mathews: Seattle has only given up 2 touchdowns in their last six road games. Fantasy Projections: 50 yards rushing 15 yards recieving

Wide Receiver

Keenan Allen: Seattle gave up 175 yards through the air last week to Aaron Rodgers. Should see Seattle’s coverage move his way with Earl Thomas on top. Fantasy Projections: 55 yards

Victor Cruz: He Gets Patrick Peterson. Enough said. Fantasy Projections: 45 yards

Tight End

Martellus Bennett: Witten last week vs 49ers had 2 catches for 14 yards on 6 targets. Patrick Willis will be able to contain Bennett. Fantasy Projection: 65 yards

Antonio Gates: Seattle Pass Defense and resting during the week with a hamstring injury. What a dreadful equation for success. Fantasy Projections: 40 yards

Defense

Kansas City Chiefs: Do you play any defense vs the Denver Manning’s? Now with starting Linebacker Derrick Johnson out, I would recommend they stay on your bench. Fantasy Projection: 2 points

Philadelphia: One of the most added defense’s prior to Week One. Now they should be the most dropped since they have to face Andrew Luck. Fantasy Projection: 5 points.
